MY SERVICES
As a freelance translator for the languages German, English, and Spanish, I translate, proofread, and write texts, do terminology work, and give private language classes. In all my projects, I attach great importance to reliability, accuracy, and confidentiality. Decisive for price and delivery time are the scope and the level of technical language skills. TRANSLATION
I do translations in various fields of expertise. Translation orders are always carried out in a stylistically confident and professional manner. All translations are proofread by a native speaker (four eyes principle).
PROOFREADING
For a professional appearance, stylistically confident, error-free texts are a must. I find your mistakes and optimize your texts linguistically so that they are perfect to read.
TERMINOLOGY WORK
The consistent use of tested technical vocabulary (terminology) is fundamental for the comprehensibility, clarity, and uniformity of technical communication. I provide you with lists of the terminology required.
WRITING
Writing texts requires conscious writing. Every word, every phrase, every punctuation mark is consciously chosen. I write your texts for you, such as correspondences and advertising texts. You provide the content in note form, I provide the wording.
LANGUAGE CLASSES
Do you want to learn a new language or deepen your language skills? I offer lively language classes for German, English, and Spanish, tailored to your level and needs. Time, place, and number of participants may be arranged individually. Classes are also possible via video conference.

ABOUT ME
Raised in the green region “Bergisches Land“ (Solingen, Germany), I did a training and my bachelor and master studies in the beautiful and international city of Cologne. As a cheerful soul from the Rhineland, my heart beats for interculturality and languages.
After the Abitur (school-leaving examination), I completed a training as a Multilingual Secretary in English and Spanish at Euro Akademie in Cologne and studied Multilingual Communication (B.A.) – with a focus on Translation and Interpreting – and Specialized Translation (M.A.) – with a focus on Economics/Law and Science/Technology – at Technische Hochschule Köln. I gained first professional experience during a three-month translation internship at tsd Technik-Sprachendienst GmbH in Cologne.
Already during my master studies, I started to work as a freelance translator for German, English, and Spanish and as a Lecturer for German as a Foreign Language (DaF).
Thanks to my six-month Erasmus semester abroad at the University of Alicante (Spain), I know what it means to learn a new language, to arrive and live in a new country, and to integrate into a new culture.
Languages open up new countries and cultures. That inspires me!
